Because you’re in a familiar and comfortable space, which makes it easier to relax and be yourself in front of the camera. This is especially important for little ones — in a new environment, there are too many new things to explore, and they’ll likely get distracted or overstimulated. Your child might be excited and act a little differently than usual.

But at home, it’s a whole different story! Everything feels familiar and safe. Kids can play with their favorite toys, explore their usual corners, and all of this naturally becomes part of the photo session.
